According to latest reports in the media, Manchester United are all set to submit a 35-million-euro bid for Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels.
Meanwhile, the 26-year old defender has confirmed that he will make a decision on his future over the next few weeks.
When asked about a possible move to Manchester United this summer, Hummels said, "I just say what is going on in my head, but that doesn't mean that I am gone already.
"I'm thinking about it and it's nothing which isn't known to those in charge at Dortmund.
"There is no trend, just mind games, which will be resolved in the next few weeks."
"I made a gut decision at the end of 2007 between Dortmund and Hoffenheim (when he left Bayern) and decided on Borussia, that's what I'll do now."
Beckenbauer: Best age to move Manchester United for Hummels
German legend Franz Beckenbauer has give his opinion on Hummels’ possible move to England. He believes this the best time for the 26-year old to switch to Manchester United. The World Cup winning veteran thinks this is the right age for the defender to consider his options in England.
“At 26, Hummels is at the best age to make the move to England,” he told Bild.
“I can understand his thinking well.”
