Midfielder: Miguel Veloso
The Portuguese defensively minded midfielder has quite a résumé. He had enjoyed full seasons of football in Sporting Lisbon, Genoa and Dynamo Kyiv before he returned to the Genovese club in 2016 and until his release on July.
Even though he has faced numerous injuries throughout his career, Veloso has been a Portugal International since 2007, earning over 50 caps and appearing to 2 World Cups and 2 European Championships. The 32-years-old has recently attracted interest from a variety of clubs, including the Greek Olympiakos, PAOK, and AEK and Bologna.
Midfielder: Jan Kirchhoff
Being only 27 years old, the German is sure to find a club soon. Kirchhoff has played for Bayern Munich, Mainz, Schalke and contributed a lot to Sunderland's avoidance of relegation in 2016. He was released from the club after being sidelined due to injury for the second part of the 2016-2017 season. In fact, injuries have ravaged many of his seasons so far in his career.
He was then offered a trial to Bolton Wanderers and left the club when his contract expired last June. Supposing he is fit, Kirchhoff can be a valuable addition to the midfield, given his age and his technical qualities.
