Bengaluru FC

The Blues struggled to get going in the first half but got better of the Mariners in the second courtesy a brilliant performance from their striker Miku upfront.
Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (7.5/10) : Sandhu was inconsistent in the match with a couple of good saves but was suicidal at times with unnecessary outings from the box.
Nishu Kumar (6/10) : Kumar was sent off early for a late tackle from the back on Kadam who was through on goal.
Harmanjyot Singh Khabra (5.5//10) : Khabra was wasteful with slow movements at the back and allowed Faiaz immense space to exploit.
John Johnson (8/10) : Johnson always came off the winner in aerial ball duels. He was a prolonged threat and obstacle for the Mariners during the corners at either side.
Subhasish Bose (7.5/10) : Bose had an impressive outing with a decent performance at the left flank.
Boithang Haokip (7/10) : Haokip missed several chances to put Bengaluru ahead in the first half from close range.
Erik Paartulu (7.5/10) : Paartulu was instrumental both in the defense and midfield. He spearheaded several attacks from the back and also led his back.
Victor Perez (6.5/10) : Perez was not as effective he would have liked himself to be upfront with several poor passes.
Miku (9.5/10) : The best player of the match without any doubt. The Venezuelan scored twice in two minutes in the second half to turn the tables on out of nowhere. His spot-kick few minutes later helped him get his hattrick as well. The reason for the difference between the two teams today.
Sunil Chhetri (8.5/10) : Chhetri came close to scoring throughout the match and finally scored a belter late into the game.
Udanta Singh (8/10) : His pace and agility at the right flank caused immense trouble for the Bagan defense throughout the game.
SUBSTITUTES
Toni Dovale (8/10) : The Spaniard replaced Khabra at the break and was effective in the defense.
Lenny Rodrigues (N/A) : He came late into the game and had minimal impact. His first touch was horrendous almost leading to an own goal.
Malswamzuala (N/A) : He came in during the additional time and hardly got a touch of the ball
