The nine team international Bhutan King’s Cup 2013, which will be played at the Changlimthang Stadium in Thimphu, will see club sides from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Bhutan take on each other from July 20 to August 10.
The tournament is being organised by Woezer events in collaboration with the Bhutan Football Federation.
The Indian representatives in the tournament would be Mohun Bagan AC, who are sending their Academy team, and I-League relegated United Sikkim FC.
Group A consists of five teams, which include Yeedzin FC (Bhutan), Brothers Union (Bangladesh), Mohun Bagan Academy (India), LH Manang Marsyangdi Club (Nepal) and NMB Machhindra (Nepal); while Group B will see four teams in action, Laxmi Bank Three Star (Nepal), United Sikkim FC (India), Team BJMC (Bangladesh) and Thimphu City FC (Bhutan).
The tournament will kick-off on Saturday, July 20 when Yeedzin FC of Bhutan will face Brothers Union of Bangladesh on the opening day at 4pm Bhutan time.
