Boca Juniors have agreed to loan striker Jonathan Calleri to Brazil's Sao Paulo, the player's father has said.
The 22-year-old, who had also been linked with Atletico Mineiro and Bologna, will be tied to the six-time Brazilian Serie A champions for six months, reports Xinhua.
"There's a verbal agreement in place. Nothing is signed yet but we should finalize it by tomorrow," Guillermo Calleri said on Tuesday.
Calleri scored 15 goals and provided nine assists in 36 matches for Boca Juniors last year.
The Argentine media reported that Calleri has requested a European passport in the hope of securing a summer move to Italy or Spain.
