Boca Juniors and Almirante go head-to-head at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas in the Copa Argentina round of 32 on Wednesday. The second-tier outfit are unbeaten in their last three away matches and will head into the game looking to cause a major upset.
Boca Juniors returned to winning ways last Thursday when they edged out a dogged Velez Sarsfield side 1-0 at La Bombonera.
This followed a disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of Platense on June 2 which saw their four-game unbeaten run across all competitions come to an end.
Boca Juniors, who are currently 11th in the Primeira Division table, turn their attention to the Copa Argentina, where they kicked off their campaign with a 3-0 victory over Central Norte.
Elsewhere, Brian Fernandez grabbed the headlines at the Estadio Gigante de Villa Fox as he netted an 80th-minute winner to hand Almirante a 1-0 victory over Defensores Unidos last time out.
Prior to that, Rodrigo Alonso’s men saw their four-game unbeaten run come to an end on June 2 courtesy of a 1-0 home defeat against Deportivo Madryn.
Almirante return to action in the Copa Argentina, where they kicked off their campaign with a penalty-shootout victory over San Martín de Tucumán after a 3-3 draw in normal time back in May.

Boca Juniors vs Almirante Prediction
Almirante will be looking to cause a huge upset in the Copa Argentina and will need to be at their best against a Boca Juniors side who are unbeaten in five of their last six matches.
However, given the gulf in quality and experience between the two sides, we predict Martínez’s men will claim a comfortable victory at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas.
Prediction: Boca Juniors 3-0 Almirante
