AFC Bournemouth v Manchester United - Premier League
You could have been forgiven to think that Paul Pogba was not on the pitch for the first 25 minutes. The Frenchman went missing for the majority of the first half and as a result, United missed that edge in their attacking play. However, it was Pogba, tracking back for over 70 yards and tackling Fraser in the 30th minute, who probably gave United the lift that was required.

As the game went on, Pogba grew in stature and started influencing the game, however, he was still unable to efficiently juggle between his defensive responsibilities and his attacking qualities. It has been the problem of the Frenchman this season, but he continued to influence the game especially in the second half. After Herrera’s inclusion, Pogba found the confidence to finally join the attack and it was his relentless spirit that completed the comeback.
He received the ball high up on the pitch in the left-hand side and despite having Anthony Martial to his right decided to go solo, giving Francis and Stanislas the slip with his clever feet. He carved a little space for himself and sent in a gorgeous ball that troubled Bournemouth and gave Rashford the chance to equalize, thus enabling United to complete the comeback.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.

Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
