Boy arrested for sending racist tweet to Manchester United Player

The Independent has stated that a 15-year old boy in Manchester has been arrested for sending a ‘racist’ message to a Manchester United player assumed to be Rio Ferdinand.

The Police arrested the boy last night on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence, the greater Manchester police reported. The boy was however released on bail pending further enquiry.

An investigation has however been launched into the matter.
