Arsenal will look to get back to their winning ways after suffering a loss to Fulham, last time around. They are on a high after beating Leeds Utd to secure a 4th round spot in the FA Cup. With the return of the charismatic Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie, Arsene Wenger will be tempted to play both of them together.
Arsenal will be without Gervinho, who has left for Africa on national duties, however Arsene Wenger have plenty of options to replace him. Arshavin, Chamberlain, Benayoun and Henry himself, are all available, whereas Rosicky is a doubt. Defender Djourou will be available again after a suspension, while young midfielder, Coquelin is out with an hamstring tear.
For Swansea, it will be a tough task to maintain their impressive home record, against Arsenal. They have just conceded 4 goals at Liberty stadium this season. Michel Vorm, Joe Allen, Steven Caulker and Scott Sinclair are likely to return after being rested against Barnsley in the FA Cup, while Gylfi Sigurdsson could get a full debut. Swansea’s impressive passing game has accumulated many praises from the footballing sphere this season, with Manchester United being the only club to beat them at home this season.
Previously, both the teams have locked horns 10 times, with the Gunners winning six of them and Swansea winning three.
