Brazil fans arrive in force as they congratulate their 'warriors' home from France
Brazil's Women's World Cup squad were welcomed by fans as they arrived in Sao Paulo on Tuesday.
Amandine Henry's goal in the 107th minute of France's 2-1 victory over Brazil on Sunday night at Le Havre, sent Vadao's side home having reached the last-16 of the competition.
"We always go through a cycle, a cycle in the World Cup and another one in the Olympics. But due to several factors we have to wait until the next time," said Brazil's head coach Vadao.
Brazil forward Cristiane Rozeira was keen to get back to work on the task of rebuilding the national team as soon as possible.
"We need to have a long-term work plan, we can't do this in such a short time," said Cristiane.
