Brazil is the most successful team in the FIFA World Cup tournament. They have won the tournament on 5 different occasions. Brazil reached the Quarter-finals in the 2018 FIFA World Cup and was eliminated in the Semi-finals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Before the 2022 FIFA World Cup, they once again look very strong going into the tournament.
Brazil managed to reach the Finals of the 2021 Copa America tournament but was defeated by Argentina in the finals. Brazil will hope to go all the way in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and win their first World Cup since 2002.

Brazil were drawn into Group A of the 2014 FIFA World Cup alongside Mexico, Cameroon, and Croatia. Brazil won their games against Croatia and Cameroon. Brazil then beat Chile on penalties in their Round of 16 match, followed by a 2-1 win over Columbia in the Quarter-finals. Brazil then faced Germany in the Semi-finals and was handed a 7-1 loss by their opponents. All in all Brazil managed to win 4 matches in their 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign.
