Rio de Janeiro, Aug 29 (IANS): Former Brazil international goalkeeper Julio Cesar has reportedly signed a four-year contract with English Premier League side Queens Park Rangers (QPR).
The 32-year-old’s move to the London club will be officially announced before the end of the week, reports Xinhua.
Cesar joins QPR from Italian Serie A outfit Inter Milan, with whom he won a Champions League medal in a seven-year stint.
He lost his place as the first-choice goalkeeper after the summer arrival of Samir Handanovic from Udinese.
QPR, coached by former Manchester United great Mark Hughes, has begun the Premier League season with a loss and a draw from its first two matches.
