John Terry has decided to accept the four-match ban imposed on him for allegedly racially abusing QPR’s Anton Ferdinand.
It may be recalled that he was found guilty by an independent FA panel of using “abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour, which included a reference to ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race.” even after being cleared of any criminal charges.
This means he will miss Sunday’s derby clash against Tottenham, the Premier League and Capital One Cup clashes at Stamford Bridge with Manchester United and the away match at Swansea. Four crucial matches that could make or break Chelsea‘s season.
