Brentford 1-3 Arsenal: Player Ratings as Gunners kick off New Year in style 

Arsenal kicked off the New Year with a strong performance on the road against Brentford with a 3-1 comeback win. The Gunners came back from a goal down to secure all three points and begin the 2025 chapter of Premier League fixtures.

Bryan Mbuemo opened the scoring for Brentford in the 13th minute before Gabriel Jesus restored parity in the 29th minute. Mikel Merino and Gabriel Martinelli scored in the 50th and 53rd minute, respectively, in a fabulous three-minute salvo to secure Mikel Arteta’s first win of the New Year.
