The German international striker is another great pic in the striker's department. He couldn't quite hit the heights he was expected to last season scoring only 13 times in the league. Werner, however, is a very creative player and provided 7 assists to compensate for his goalscoring exploits.

With Leipzig not in the Champions League this season, the club can focus on their league campaign which might enable Werner to have another 20+ goal season like he did in 2016-17.
