#3 Bakayoko and Cahill impress
Tiemoue Bakayoko and Gary Cahill have had a fair share of criticism from Chelsea fans this season. The dup have been ripped to bits for their poor performances at the start of the season but today, showed what they are capable of.
Cahill was solid at the back and was commanding the backline for the 90+ minutes played. He even put himself on the line head a ball away from Barns in a dangerous situation. He got kicked in his face and that would have brought back memories of John Terry for a lot of Chelsea fans.
Bakayoko was signed as an upgrade to Nemanja Matic but failed to do anything special. He had a good debut at Tottenham but was unable to replicate even 50% of it in any other game.
Today, it was different. He was solid in the midfield and was not making too many errors. His first touch is an issue and that's something he needs to work on in training.
