Today’s matches ended with the following results: Mohun Bagan AC 4-0 Police AC, Mohammedan Sporting Club 4-0 Tollgunge Agragami; Southern Samity 3-1 West Bengal Police; Calcutta Port Trust 0-1 Kalighat Club.
From Group A, defending champions East Bengal Club (19 pts), Prayag United SC (19 pts), Aryan Club (15 pts), Kalighat Milan Sangha (14 pts) and Eastern Railway SC (14 pts) qualified for the championship round though East Bengal are still to take on Prayag United SC.
From Group B, Mohun Bagan AC (15 pts), Bhawanipore Club (15 pts), Mohammedan Sporting Club (15 pts) and Southern Samity (14 pts) have made it to the Championship Round which will be played in early-2013.
Meanwhile, Group A sides George Telegraph SC (12 pts), Army XI (9 pts), BNR (9 pts), Railway FC (7 pts) and Peerless SC (5 pts) will play in the relegation round to avoid the drop just like Tollygunge Agragami (11 pts), Kalighat Club (10 pts), Calcutta Port Trust (9 pts), Police AC (9 pts) and West Bengal Police (1 pt) from Group B.
