With rumours flashing all over about a possible return for Carlo Ancelotti at the San Siro, Adriano Galliani, the CEO of AC Milan has gone on to confirm that the club is indeed in contact with their former boss.
Placed 11 in the Seria A table, there have been strong speculations in recent weeks about Filippo Inzaghi getting replaced by another former Rossoneri himself, Carlo Ancelotti.
"We always said that we want to finish the season with Pippo and then see," he is quoted as saying bySport.
"There's a few days left then on June 1, we'll see what we need to do then make decisions,” added Berlusconi.
Besides, Galliani had also said the club to be in touch with some of their other former managers.
"I always listen to Ancelotti. I'm always in contact with former coaches, including Arrigo Sacchi, Fabio Capello and Ancelotti,” said the owner.
Milan will finish their campaign with a clash against Torino at the San Siro on Sunday before a trip to Atalanta the following week.
