Milan - Celtic manager Neil Lennon said his side was the better team though it lost to AC Milan 2-0 at San Siro in their opening Champions League group tie.
“I’m very disappointed because for long periods of the game we were the better team,” Lennon said Wednesday, reports Xinhua.
“You have to take your chances when you’re on top. Unfortunately we didn’t get the break of the ball tonight and Milan did with that deflection,” he said.
“I think the scoreline flatters Milan tonight. I don’t think there’s two goals between the teams tonight. We dominated Milan for 20 minutes in the second half and the last 10 minutes of the first half,” he added.
