Celtic and Aberdeen will battle for three points in a Scottish Premiership round eight fixture on Saturday (October 19th). The home side are coming into the game on the back of a 2-1 comeback away win over Ross County two weeks ago.
They went into the break behind courtesy of Ronan Hale's 43rd-minute penalty. A late fightback saw Alistair Johnston draw the game level in the 76th minute before Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn scored the match-winner 12 minutes later.
Aberdeen, meanwhile, claimed maximum points with a 3-2 home win over Hearts in their last outing. Topi Keskinen gave them the lead in the second minute while Frankie Kent equalized for Hearts in the 36th minute. Blair Spittal then put Hearts ahead just past the hour-mark, but Nicky Devlin equalized in the 65th minute while Jorge Grant was sent off for the visitors 10 minutes later. Ante Palaversa scored the match-winner for Aberdeen in the 88th minute.
The victory left The Dons joint-top of the standings on 21 points, level with Celtic.
