As reported, Barcelona will listen to offers for their midfielder Cesc Fàbregas from Manchester United and Arsenal if either of the club pays £45million.
A disappointing 2013/14 season for the Catalan club by their standards, where they could only win the 2013 Spanish Super Cup saw manager Gerardo Martino leaving the club and being replaced by former Celta de Vigo boss Luis Enrique. And now, arcelona are set to add Cesc Fàbregas to the transfer list to bring in more cash to help the manager Luis Enrique in building a new team.
Fàbregas has played on numerous positions for the club from Catalonia in 55 matches this season, scoring 13 goals and assisting 16 times.
A move back to England will guarantee more playing time for Fàbregas at his preferred position which is as a central midfielder. The former Arsenal captain has eight years of experience playing in the English conditions and is already an established player that any team would want to have.
To add further speculation, the 27-year-old did not feature with the Barcelona team, when they unveiled their new home kit for the 2014/15 season.
The move is likely to take place and it would be interesting to see if he decides to go back to Arsenal or join their rivals Manchester United.
