3. Hazard, Neymar and Mbappe
With the departure of Ronaldo, Real Madrid now have 2 options, look for a replacement within the team and build on that, or look for another 'galactico' on the transfer market to fill the massive void left by the departure of their all-time top scorer. Knowing Florentino Perez and Real Madrid, they will most probably choose option 2.
With a lot of names linked with the Madrid club since a few months now, the ones that gathered the most traction were Hazard, Neymar and Mbappe. There were rumours that in past seasons Ronaldo had said that he would continue to stay with the promise that none of these players was bought in so as to maintain his position as an undisputed starter. But, with him now out of the picture, both the club and these 3 players have the golden opportunity to make the switch.
With Mbappe putting in brilliant performances at the World Cup for France and still only 19, and Neymar having been a target for Perez for a long time now, there is a high, high possibility that the Real Madrid President breaks the bank and brings in either of the 2, but negotiating with PSG for any of their star players has proven to be extremely difficult, so take that possibility with a pinch of salt. The most realistic possibility so-far, though, looks to be Eden Hazard from Chelsea. The Belgian is comparatively more experienced than the other 2 and his transfer will surely be less of a pain to negotiate for the Real Madrid boardroom.
