3.Manchester City
Having won the Premier League in record-breaking fashion last season, Pep Guardiola's prime focus is probably gonna be the Champions League. They were handed a difficult start as Lyon produced magic to beat them two goals to one at the Etihad Stadium.
However, no one can doubt that the current Premier League winners have one of the best squad in the competition. Perhaps, they might be the only team that has a backup player in each position in the tournament. The way likes of David Silva, Ederson, and Sergio Aguero are performing, City is no underdogs in this competition. However, Kevin De Bruyne's injury might be difficult to overcome in the first part of the campaign.
