#2 Liverpool are defensively strong enough
Liverpool have one of the best defensive records among all the European giants. Having conceded only 22 goals from 37 Premier League appearances, their centre-backs are enjoying an exceptional season in the Red colour. When we think about the Liverpool defence, we should mention the name of Virgil van Dijk.
The Dutchman has become the backbone of this Liverpool defence. Although he is a centre-back, his physical presence and ability could help Klopp's side during set-piece situations. This season, he has scored two goals in the Champions League and four goals respectively in the Premier League.
On the other hand, Tottenham have conceded 15 more goals than the Merseyside club. The Londoners have some injury issues in their defence line. Their star defender, Jan Vertonghen, could miss the final with a foot injury. The Liverpool side could get some advantage if Vertonghen misses the final.
