#1 Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah would be on a mission to redemption in this season's Champions League final at the Wanda Metroplitano.
Last season, the Egyptian entered the final against Real Madrid in the richest vein of form, with most of Liverpool's chances lying on him.
However, he saw his dream of immortality squashed less than 30 minutes in, as a wrestling-like take-down by Sergio Ramos saw him pull up with a broken arm and miss the rest of the match as well as his country's opener at the World Cup.
Given his performance levels last season, many expressed doubt that the 26-year-old could reach the same heights, but even though he did not quite match last season's extraterrestrial levels, Salah topped the scoring charts in the Premier League.
He has, so far, netted 26 goals from 51 matches in all competitions. Given his tendency to occupy deadly positions in the box and link up play, Spurs will have their task cut out against the goal machine.
