#2 Liverpool 3-2 PSG
While everyone has been talking about disappointing PSG's performance was on Tuesday night, some time should be taken to appreciate the strength of the performance given by Jurgen Klopp's men.
Liverpool have had an incredibly impressive start to the campaign, and for at least 70 combined minutes of this match-up, they looked comfortably in control against one of the best sides in Europe.
Daniel Sturridge made his first Champions League start since 2012, and immediately repaid Klopp's faith in him by scoring on the half an hour mark. Liverpool would double their lead minutes later, with James Milner slotting home a penalty.
The Premier-League side got complacent in the second half, allowing PSG to come back and level the score, but the Reds were relentless, and Roberto Firmino grabbed a late winner for the team, who will be hoping to go one better than last year this time around.
