Beyond the early pair of goals conceded by Real Madrid, the Spanish giants also suffered two other setbacks in the first half, which came in the form of injuries to two of their starting players.

First it was Lucas Vazquez who pulled up in the 29th minute to be replaced by Gareth Bale, while just nine minutes later, Vinicius Jr followed suit to make way for Marco Asensio.
Both players have been an integral part of Real Madrid's attack in recent weeks and their early departures was a big blow to Real.
Vinicius Jr has arguably been Real Madrid's most explosive player in recent weeks and with him on the pitch, Real would still have fancied their chances. The early entrance of both Bale and Asensio robbed Solari off potent firepower to turn to from the bench which would have come in handy later in the second half.
