Hazard impressed in the second half
Chelsea had an added incentive coming into the game with a possibility of going top of the league by the end of the weekend. However, from the outset, it didn't look like they played with any motivation. It was all low and slow for Maurizio Sarri's side as they failed to make any penetration inside the Everton penalty box with one shot on target in the entire half.

The halftime team talk must have done wonders for the players as they came out all guns blazing with Pickford pulling off an acrobatic save to deny Morata. The second half was all dominated by the Blues with Hazard running the show. Willian came close to score followed by a Marcus Alonso's low drive shot which hit the outside of the post.
Despite all the chances they created in the second half, it was not enough to win the game, but Sarri would be delighted with the way his team performed in the second half.

Football is in my blood and I love the electrifying ambiance that surrounds it. I often watch the pre and post match analysis of a match and try to learn how to analyze a football game.
The thing that intrigues me the most is that there are so many things happening behind the scenes that are oblivious to our naked eyes. The technological advancements that has been made are phenomenal.
I like analyzing a game from a statistical point of view. Being a data guy myself , I am firm believer of providing insights through facts and data. Though a game is always unpredictable , analyzing it from different dimensions can provide some very interesting conclusions.
