Caoimhin Kelleher, of all players, bagged the winning penalty in the game, and delivered a great performance when trusted by Jurgen Klopp. The 23-year-old kept his calm throughout the match, and stood strong against everything Chelsea had to offer.
The Irishman had began his career as a striker. He displayed his shooting skills in the shootout. as he powered his effort from the spot into the roof of the net. with Kepa diving the wrong way. It was Kelleher's third successful League Cup penalty shootout for the Reds.
