Even before the start of the season, Liverpool and Manchester City were the bookmakers favorite to win the league. The performances have justified that, with both clubs seemingly capable of winning any game with the squad they have.

But Chelsea have made a real claim for the title as well with their unbeaten start to the league. Their performance today was an indication of how far they have come under Sarri and the new style of play is bringing success to the club. Questions were asked about Sarri's defensive side of the game, but recent performances have so far indicated that the Blues have got that sorted out. It's now looking like a three-way title race with Chelsea in the mix along with Liverpool and Manchester City.
