Flop: Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)

It was a night to forget for Fernandes.
It was a night to forget for Fernandes.

He has had such an impressive campaign individually. But Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes was just not himself against Chelsea, turning in a stinker.

The Portuguese playmaking wizard was particularly terrible in the opening stanza. His only notable moment of action was giving the ball away straight to Callum Hudson-Odoi that nearly resulted in Chelsea's opener in the 35th minute.

Although he looked better after the break, there weren't many improvements in his game. Fernandes looked devoid of ideas on the ball, and cut a listless figure as Chelsea had no problems dealing with him.

Hit: Thiago Silva (Chelsea)

Veteran centre-back Thiago Silva knows no bounds. He capped off another fine game at the heart of Chelsea defence while playing a key role in the equaliser.

The Brazilian's positioning throughout the game was spot on. He read the game brilliantly as ever, making three clearances and one interception.

He also won the penalty for The Blues in the second half, drawing a foul out of Aaron Wan-Bissaka who kicked him on the ankle with an outstretched leg. Jorginho then buried home the penalty to get the European champions level.

Flop: Timo Werner (Chelsea)

Werner missed a good chance to put Chelsea in front.

Timo Werner marked his return from injury in midweek with a goal against Juventus in the Champions League after coming off the bench.

However, having earned a starting spot tonight, he once again looked well below his best. Werner lacked killer instincts in the attacking third, which is now becoming a serious concern.

He wasted a glorious chance from six yards out shortly after Sancho's opener, smashing his effort narrowly wide off target. Prime Werner would've scored that effortlessly.

Since arriving from RB Leipzig last year, the German has struggled to score consistently. While he has looked to make up for that by creating chances for his teammates, Werner really needs to improve his finishing.
