Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah opened the scoring for Egypt on Friday during their 2-3 defeat against Chile in Santiago with a one-on-one finish in the 12th minute of the game.
The architecture of the move was Salah’s former Basel teammate Mohamed El-Neny who was successful in lading the goal for Salah with an inch perfect pass.
The match, however, ended in the favour of Chile who made a scintillating comeback after being 2-0 down with Eduardo Vargas scoring twice.
