Tonight, Chelsea have announced that Nathaniel Chalobah has joined Nottingham Forest on loan until January. I just wondered what you all think of the move?

Chalobah has recently signed a new five year contract at the club and can play in defence or attack.

Last season, Chalobah made 42 appearances for Gianfranco Zola‘s Watford side as they battled their way to the playoff finals and Chalobah really made an excellent impression playing in midfield.

Jose Mourinho has talked up the player predicting an exciting future for him at Chelsea but stressed the importance of this season being another to develop his talent in the Championship. And promotion chasing Forest seems like the ideal place for him to do exactly that.

I am a little surprised as I would have expected him to return to Watford, but in saying that, who am I to question the club’s decision and I am sure he can be as much of a success for Billy Davies’s side as he was for Watford.

Who can forget the goal he scored last season!

So what do you people think about the move to Forest and do you think he would be a success? What about any Nottingham Forest fans reading this post? What do you think of his potential and what do you feel he could add to your team?

We all wish Chalobah well with his time at Forest and hope that it’s as productive for both parties.

Carefree & KTBFFH!
