#2 The Christian Pulisic transfer saga takes a twist

Even after Borussia Dortmund denied the possibility of parting ways with Christian Pulisic in January, the rumours of his exit haven't ceased yet.

The German outfit are yet to extend his contract which expires in 2020. Chelsea have been heavily linked with the American over a move next summer. If the reports are to be believed, they will have to battle it out with Premier League rivals Liverpool for his signature.

The club are keen on hanging on to their young superstar until the end of the season, as confirmed by Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc. When queried about his future, Pulisic said:

"I'm still focused on Dortmund. We are doing great this season."

"Once the break comes [in January], that is always when I will have to discuss with Dortmund and see about my future."

Christian Pulisic has scored 15 goals in 107 appearances for Borussia Dortmund.
