According to reports in Belgium Anderlecht want to sign Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne in the winter transfer window.
“Kevin may come. It will be not easy, but it is something that we should definitely investigate,” said the Anderlecht manager Herman Van Holsbeeck when being interviewed regarding signing the Chelsea youngster by Belgian newspaper HLN.
With the world cup around the corner and having already established a spot in the Belgian national team the 22 year old will be looking for decent game time if he want to keep his spot in the talented Belgian squad.
KDB has falled down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and has started just two games for the blues in the Capital One Cup. Having made just six appearances in the whole season for the Blues a move away might look tempting for the youngster who needs to prove a point if he wants to remain in Jose’s future plans.
Anderlecht however are unlikely to buy the player permanently and loan looks likes the most viable option for the Belgian team. Anderlecht currents are five points adrift of the leaders Standard Liege and are in need of midfield reinforcement to fight for top honors.
