Couldn’t handle the pressure

He was tipped to be the next Xavi but has come nowhere close to fulfilling his potential. He was signed from Barcelona at the start of the season and made just three appearances for the club in the Champions League that season.

He was loaned out to Valencia in 2013 and then to Stuttgart in 2014. Jose Mourinho did not see him improving and decided to sell him to Southampton in 2015.

Romeu established himself under Ronald Koeman and is now a regular under Claude Puel as well. He's being linked with a return to Barcelona this summer.

#20 - Florent Malouda

What a photo!

Malouda joined Chelsea in 2007 and was used more as an impact sub than a starter by all their managers. He played nine games in the Champions League that season and came on as a substitute in the final.

He left Chelsea in 2013 to go to the Turkish side, Trabzonspor. After spending a season there, he moved the French side, Metz and then joined Indian Super League side, Delhi Dynamos in 2015. He now plays for Egyptians club, Wadi Degla Sporting Club on loan from Delhi.

#21 - Didier Drogba

Chelsea God

Didier Drogba, the one who scored the header in the 88th minute to equalise for Chelsea against Bayern Munich and also the one who eventually scored the winning penalty in the shootout.

He left Chelsea immediately to move to China and then moved to Turkish side Galatasaray. He came to Chelsea for a season in 2015 before joining MLS side, Montreal Impact.

He now plays for Phoenix Rising FC in the United Soccer League, the 2nd tier of MLS.
