FC Barcelona's bid for Angel Di Maria is rejected

This transfer window is turning out to be an unforgettable nightmare for Barcelona with Paris Saint Germain now rejecting a €35 million offer from the Spanish giants for Angel Di Maria. Manager Unai Emery has made it clear to the PSG ownership that Di Maria features in his plans and he wants to keep hold of the Argentine.

Barcelona were hoping to sign the former Real Madrid man to add another wide player to make up for the void created by Neymar's departure.

Arsenal and Liverpool interested in Karim Benzema

Diario Gol has claimed that Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez is open to selling Karim Benzema this week amidst interest from Arsenal and Liverpool. The Gunners see him as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez if he forces a move to Manchester City whereas Liverpool want a marquee signing this summer.
