Serge Aurier agrees personal terms with Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs have finally moved their feet in the transfer market with L'equipe claiming that the Lilywhites have agreed on a deal with Paris Saint Germain's Serge Aurier. The right back has been relegated to the bench this season after the arrival of Dani Alves. He is expected to arrive in London next week with Tottenham ready to pay the required €25 million to acquire his services.
Sporting Lisbon demand £40 million for William Carvalho
The Hammers have received a setback in their chase of William Carvalho with the Sun claiming that Lisbon are demanding £40 million for the Portuguese midfielder. West Ham were ready to pay close to £30 million for Carvalho but now have to rethink about their interest. Slaven Bilic's side has done brilliant business this summer, signing the likes of Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez.
