Tottenham Hotspur confident of tying down Dele Alli with a new contract
Spurs are confident that despite Dele Alli currently being in the process of changing agents, the midfielder will sign a new lucrative deal with the Lilywhites. Alli currently earns £50,000 per week and Spurs have decided to offer a new financial deal for the 23-year-old which will see him earn at par with Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris.
The North London club is worried that if Alli appoints a super agent like Mino Raiola or Jorge Mendes then it may be difficult to make him commit his future to the club.
Danny Ings feels that he still has a future with Liverpool
Ings' serious knee injury has made him a sort of a forgotten man at Liverpool after the striker has not played consistently for the club in the last two seasons. But the 25-year-old is desperate to make his Liverpool stint a success. In an interview with the Times, Ings reflected, "I have been in a lot of tough situations at previous clubs where it has been hard to break in. I still believe in myself. I still believe I can play in this team. When you are at a club like Liverpool, it is not a club that you want to walk away from. I still feel like I have a big part to play in this football club."
