The Chelsea faithful might not even know about Drinkwater's whereabouts today. He is completely missing and forgotten in the club this season although he is still part of the London side. The Blues had put high hopes in the former Leicester player when they bought the Englishman for a massive €38 million in 2017.

He was influential for Leicester's miraculous Premier League triumph during the 2015/16 season. Unfortunately, he has now turned out to be one of Chelsea's worst signings. Several Chelsea fans might laugh at Drinkwater's miserable state but the fringe Blues's player has probably enjoyed his ridiculous £120,000 a week wages somewhere.
He has been pretty much out from Sarri's plan so far. Even though Chelsea could sack the Italian manager anytime, the club would most likely kick Drinkwater out first.
