Oscar
The Brazilian started the season in fine form, taking the acclaim from those around him. However, his performances levelled out and Hazard took over, but Oscar is still one of Chelsea’s key players in their fierce attack behind the main striker.
The Blues have arguably the best set of attacking midfielders in the Premier League and Oscar plays a huge role in that. He has created 36 chances and scored six goals this season. He led the way with six goals until Hazard hit form so it has been an impressive season for the Brazilian who will definitely be going to the World Cup in the summer.
Juan Mata was foul of Mourinho’s style and left the club. Some thought it was because he didn’t work hard enough off the ball and Oscar was included in the team because he did. It shows as the diminutive Brazilian star has won 45 tackles this season, more than double of what Mata has (20).
