Chelsea keeping tabs on RB Leipzig star Peter Gulacsi
According to the Sun, Chelsea have identified Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi as a potential replacement for Thibaut Courtois but they will have to battle it out with Atletico Madrid for the former Liverpool star.
The Hungary international, who joined the Germans in 2015 from RB Salzburg, has conceded 34 goals in 26 Bundesliga games so far.
Gulacsi, rated at £25m, spent five years at Liverpool without making a single appearance. The 27-year-old signed an extension in December to stay at the Red Bull Arena until 2022.
As far as Courtois is concerned, the Belgium international is yet to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge amid reported interest from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld is being linked with Chelsea
The Daily Star has reported that Chelsea are ready to beat Manchester United to the signing of Tottenham Hotspur star Toby Alderweireld, who has been dropped from Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The Belgium international has two years left on his current deal and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is not ready to give in to his demands for a new one worth £150,000-a-week.
Alderweireld wants to earn the same amount his fellow defender Virgil van Dijk gets at Liverpool following his January move from Southampton.
The 28-year-old, who has starred for Spurs since his 2015 move from Atletico Madrid, has a £25million release clause which can be activated in 2019 and the club may listen to offers in the region of £40m at the end of the season.
Willian attracting interest from three football giants
Willian has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Barcelona and Real in the last few months and according to the latest reports in the Express, the 29-year-old is contemplating a move away from Chelsea in the near future.
According to metro.co.uk, Willian had assured Chelsea fans that he is very happy with his role at Stamford Bridge but his representatives are listening to offers.
The Brazilian's telling contributions have been vital to keeping the defending champions' head above water this season.
Chelsea are at a risk of missing out on a Champions League spot next season, consequently, they are struggling to keep hold of their top stars.
The former Shakhtar Donetsk winger has spent five years with the Blues and is currently tied down until 2020.
