Chelsea are monitoring Aaron Ramsey’s situation at Arsenal
The Daily Mirror have reported that Chelsea are eyeing Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who is yet to sign a new contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea raided Arsenal once this season, bringing French forward Olivier Giroud to Stamford Bridge on deadline day of the January transfer window. They also agreed on a deal to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain last summer, but he rejected the Blues to instead seal a move to Liverpool.
The 27-year-old Welsh international, who has spent a large portion of the campaign out of action with a hamstring injury, has scored seven goals and assisted 10 in 23 appearances this season.
Antonio Conte would be in desperate need to strengthen his midfield after the poor form of Danny Drinkwater, Ross Barkley and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Chelsea willing to pay £119m for Marco Asensio
Last month, The Daily Star reported that Real Madrid star Marco Asensio has received offers to join five clubs, including Premier League sides Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.
In latest reports, the publication claims that the London club are willing to pay £119 million for the Spanish international to beat Liverpool's bid.
The 22-year-old forward is frustrated because he has struggled for regular first-team starts under Zinedine Zidane.
The midfielder broke into the Madrid first-team last season after an impressive loan spell at Espanyol and has netted 20 goals in 77 career appearances for the Spanish giants.
Asensio is contracted with Los Blancos until 2023 and has a massive £621 million release clause.
Bayern Munich and Juventus are reportedly the other two clubs, who are trying to lure Asensio away from the Spanish capital.
Chelsea join the race for Kwadwo Asamoah
According to Goal.com, Chelsea are looking to sign Juventus star Kwadwo Asamoah in the summer transfer window after giving up on his teammate Alex Sandro.
After failing the assault on Sandro, Chelsea are reportedly knocking at the doors of the Allianz Stadium for Asamoah, who will be a free agent after his contract with Juventus expires in June this year.
There are also speculations that the Old Lady are seeking to extend the 29-year-old's six-year stay amid reports that Turkish side Galatasaray and Fenerbahce and Italian outfits AS Roma, Napoli and lately Inter Milan are keen on signing Asamoah.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, who was in charge of Juventus in 2012, had signed the Ghana international for the Italian club, and is believed to be keen on a reunion.
