Sarri demands Alisson signing

Alisson is Brazil's No.1 at the World Cup

Soon to be Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has informed Chelsea to join the race for AS Roma star, Alisson Becker, the Metro claims. The Brazilian goalkeeper is already on the radar of Liverpool and Real Madrid while Roma are insistent on their demands and will sell him for no less than £70 million.

Current number one, Thibaut Courtois has only one year remaining on his deal and talks of a new contract have not been opened by the Board. The Belgian is also a transfer target for Real and previously Reds boss Jurgen Klopp too was eyeing a shock bid for Courtois.

Sarri will possibly have a limited budget to work with during the transfer window and Alisson could be out of Chelsea's reach since capturing him will consume a major chunk of their transfer kitty.

It is most likely that neither Courtois will be offered a new deal nor will he sign a contract extension as he has previously hinted on a return to Spain where he enjoyed a successful three-year loan stint with Atletico Madrid.
