Chelsea has repeatedly turned down a £10 million offer for midfielder Cesare Casadei according to journalist Alex Crook. The offer was reported to be made by Italian club Torino.

The 21-year-old is currently being tipped to leave Stamford Bridge this winter with a couple of clubs believed to be interested in signing the youngster.

Casadie joined the Blues in the summer of 2022 on a transfer fee in the region of €15 million from Italian giants Inter Milan.

However, since his switch to West London, the Italian youngster hasn't been able to establish himself as a regular in the Chelsea first team.

Reports now suggest that a move away from the club this January is on the cards. The Blues are rumoured to be open to an outright sale in the region of €15 million for the player.

Recent reports by journalist Crook revealed that Torino have already had an offer of €10 million rejected by the Blues. The amount offered currently falls below Chelsea's valuation of the player.

"I have always wanted to play for Chelsea" - Wantaway Blues' midfielder reveals

Despite reports linking him with a move away from Chelsea, Casadie had revealed at the start of the season that his dream has always been to play for the Blues.

The 21-year-old midfielder has been used quite sparingly by Enzo Maresca this season as he currently down the pecking order in midfield.

Speaking earlier this season, the former Inter Milan academy product revealed that he didn't want to leave last summer as his dream is to play for the Blues. In his words, via BBC, he said:

"To be honest at the start of this season I was thinking about what was the best solution for me.
"I think last season was quite difficult, especially the last six months, because I didn’t play a lot. I was not really happy, because everyone wants game time.

He added:

"But from the moment I spoke to the manager I was 100% sure that the decision to stay was best for me to improve and for my career.
“I didn’t want to go permanently. There were some possible loans. But I have always wanted to play for Chelsea. We are one of the biggest teams in the world so I could not be more proud to play for the Blues"

Casadie is currently the subject of a €10 million offer from Torino. The midfielder has played a total of 424 minutes of football action for the Blues this season.

He has made a combined total of six appearances across all competitions, with the majority coming in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
