Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool - 29 September 2018 | Premier League
It was still early days in the league, with both these sides in the richest vein of form. Revenge albeit, was on Liverpool's sight after Eden Hazard inspired Chelsea to a fabulous victory in the third round of the Carabao Cup to knock the Reds out.
The tricky Belgian underpinned the full flow of 'Sarri-ball' by exchanging a couple of fine passes with Kovacic and finishing off the return imperiously. Chelsea kept a good portion of the ball, stayed switched on and were a step away from three points.
But former Blues striker Daniel Sturridge had other ideas, as he launched one from nowhere - without any sort of back lift - to draw the visitors level. Stamford Bridge was stunned, indeed.
It was however, a fixture that was completely end-to-end, so much so that Klopp and Sarri even shared lighter moments during the intense phases of the game.
Expect another one of these classics when Liverpool visit West London later tomorrow. After all, red and blue don't mix; they clash.
