#3 – David Luiz: A better Midfielder than defender?

Chelsea FC v AS Roma - UEFA Champions LeagueDavid Luiz has played in the midfield a lot of times for Chelsea. He was first used in that position by Jose Mourinho and now Antonio Conte has also experimented with the same a couple of times already this season.

Though the manager is not happy with his 'experiment', it looks like the Brazilian was more comfortable in that position. The fact that he had Christensen to cover him up at the back, it gave Luiz more freedom to move about and go up front more often.

His goal was a stunner and the way he was linking up with Morata and Hazard showed that the 'experiment' might not be such a failure after all.
