Jorginho has looked totally at home for Chelsea in preseason
Jorginho was already a revelation for Napoli last year, notably making over 3000 passes at an average of 1 pass every 50 seconds played. Following in the footsteps of his coach Sarri, the Italian midfielder, who was born in Brazil, joined Chelsea this season for £47 million and seemed to continue where he left off.

In his debut for Chelsea against Perth, Jorginho touched the ball 101 times and made 98 successful passes. What made the statistics even more enticing is that he played only 45 minutes. Jorginho was decent against Inter Milan and Arsenal as well, even though he did not have an impact akin to his first game.
Now it remains to be seen whether he can assert his authority against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City and dictate the game in what will be his first competitive start for Chelsea. Even in the absence of De Bruyne, Jorginho will definitely be tested against the free-flowing City midfield.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
