Bayern Munich wants Mauricio Pochettino as their manager next season

With Jupp Heynckes set to retire in the summer, the Bavarians have picked up the pace to identify his successor. Sport Bild has now reported that Bayern Munich's sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has recommended the name of Spurs' Mauricio Pochettino to take over from the veteran.

Pochettino has a contract with the North Londoners until 2021 as the German champions will find luring the Argentine to the Allianz Arena a tedious task.

Jann-Fiete Arp rejects Bayern Munich

Hamburg's teenage striker Jann-Fiete Arp is one of the most highly rated talents in German football. Understandably, Bayern Munich were interested in him and made an offer to take him on board for the next season.

But Bild has now reported that Arp is wary of his playing chances with Bayern and has hence decided to continue his progress with Hamburg by rejecting Bayern Munich's offer.
