#3 – Thibaut Courtois (£120,000 per week)
Thibaut Courtois is 3rd on the list right now but will jump to 1st once he signs the new contract. The Belgian is on the verge of signing the new deal at the club and is set to earn £210,000 a week – highest for any goalkeeper in the world.
Courtois is worth every penny Chelsea pay him and it's a surprise that they waited so long to offer him a new contract. He's got just 17 months left and with Real Madrid always interested, it was a big risk that Chelsea took.
#2 – Cesc Fabregas (£156,000 per week)
Chelsea's 2nd highest paid player is at just a mere £156,000 a week. Cesc Fabregas has not been at his best in the last couple of months, but he's worth the money they pay him.
The Spaniard's contract at the club ends in June 2019 and talks are going on about a new contract. But just like every other player over the age of 30, he too might only be offered a one year contract.
#1 – Eden Hazard (£200,000 per week)
Chelsea highest paid player is their best player right now: Eden Hazard. The Belgian's current deal at the club expires in 17 months and they are doing their best to get him to sign a new deal.
Hazard has reportedly been offered a £300,000 a week deal but he's waiting until the summer to make a decision. He wants to keep his options open and reported suggest that he will jump at the chance if Real Madrid come calling.
